Chemical-grade silicon suppliers lower offers for bids

Offers were heard at about 13,500 yuan/mt by acceptance

SHANGHAI, Mar 7 (SMM) – Chemical-grade silicon suppliers in China lowered offers for monthly bids issued earlier this week by organosilicone producers Hubei Xingfa and Shandong Jinling, SMM learned.

Offers for 421# materials fell some 300 yuan/mt from those for the previous month’s bids, standing at about 13,500 yuan/mt by acceptance. Some cheaper materials were offered at 13,000 yuan/mt by acceptance.

For cash payments, offers were heard at 13,300 yuan/mt.

The prices also include transport.
