Primary aluminium inventories rise slower

Stocks came in at 1.755 million mt as of Monday Mar 4, up 11,000 mt from Thursday Feb 28

SHANGHAI, Mar 4 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, came in at 1.755 million mt as of Monday March 4, up 11,000 mt from Thursday February 28, SMM data showed.

The weekend gain of 11,000 mt is smaller than the increase of 45,000 mt in the previous weekend.

Details:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 647,000 mt

Shanghai – 313,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 367,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 158,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 149,000 mt

Tianjin – 57,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 31,000 mt

Chongqing –33,000 mt
