ZTT to fund seven energy storage projects
Projects include a 950MWh energy storage power station, and intelligent regeneration of large-scale optical fibre preforms
SHANGHAI, Feb 27 (SMM) – Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology (ZTT), a domestic leading provider of power and telecom system, decided to issue 3.97 billion yuan worth of convertible bonds for the funding of its seven energy storage projects, ZTT announced on its website on Tuesday February 26.
The seven projects include a 950MWh energy storage power station, and intelligent regeneration of large-scale optical fibre preforms.
According to a survey by China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA), China’s accumulated operational energy storage capacity for the year 2018 totalled 1018.5MW/2912.3MWh, an increase 2.6 times that of the total accumulated capacity of 2017.
In application, energy storage on the grid and user sides accounted for the largest proportion in 2018.
