Greater arrivals grow inventories of primary aluminium over weekend

Social inventories across eight consumption areas came in at 1.72 million mt as of Monday Feb 25

SHANGHAI, Feb 25 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, came in at 1.72 million mt as of Monday February 25, up 45,000 mt from Thursday February 21, SMM data showed.

Higher arrivals at warehouses in Foshan of Guangdong province and Gongyi of Henan province expanded overall inventories.

Details:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 636,000 mt

Shanghai – 312,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 340,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 157,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 149,000 mt

Tianjin – 57,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 30,000 mt

Chongqing –36,000 mt
