CNY to lower Feb operating rates at galvanising plants to 49%

The rate is expected to fall 4.11 percentage points month on month to stand at 48.88% in Feb

SHANGHAI, Feb 21 (SMM) – The average operating rate across Chinese galvanising plants is expected to fall 4.11 percentage points month on month to stand at 48.88% in February, up 15.17 percentage points from February 2018, showed an SMM survey.

The Lunar New Year holidays at the start of February accounted for the declines in operation.
