553# silicon that undertook oxygen refining was traded at 11,600 yuan/mt at Tianjin port

SHANGHAI, Feb 13 (SMM) – Silicon producers in China held their offers barely changed from before the Chinese New Year holiday, on Wednesday February 13.

SMM learned that 553# silicon that undertook oxygen refining was traded at 11,600 yuan/mt at Tianjin port today.

Shipping services gradually resumed in the north, allowing for the delivery of silicon orders. Some orders were received before the break while new orders made by downstream consumers were for restocking.

Overall purchases were tepid as traders took a wait-and-see stance before downstream consumers completely return from holidays.
