DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Feb 12 (SMM) – While the growth of consumption in China is likely to further slow in 2019, the pace would be still be steady and relatively fast, Wang Bin, deputy director of market operations at the Commerce Ministry said on Tuesday February 12, at a press conference reflecting on 2018.
China’s consumption grew at a rate of 9% in 2018, slower than a year earlier.
A huge market and the 400 million citizens in the middle-income group would help consumption in China further grow and weather challenges, he added.
