Primary aluminium inventories grow 13% over CNY break

Stocks came in at 1.562 million mt as of Monday Feb 11, up 184,000 mt, or 13.4% from Thursday Jan 31

SHANGHAI, Feb 11 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, came in at 1.562 million mt as of Monday February 11, up 184,000 mt, or 13.4% from Thursday January 31, SMM data showed.

Details:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 578,000 mt

Shanghai – 310,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 274,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 142,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 143,000 mt

Tianjin – 52,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 27,000 mt

Chongqing – 36,000 mt
