Stocks of aluminium billet expand further on week

SHANGHAI, Jan 31 (SMM) – Stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China increased some 22,500 mt over the week ended Thursday January 31 to stand at 110,200 mt, SMM data showed.

This followed after the stocks grew some 7,000 mt a week earlier. CNY break of more downstream buyers accounted for the expanded accumulation.

Foshan, Guangdong – 60,000 mt

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 16,100 mt

Changzhou, Jiangsu – 16,700 mt

Huzhou, Zhejiang – 5,000 mt

Nanchang, Jiangxi – 12,400 mt
