Report: Jiangsu to launch 6-month investigation into lead-acid battery scrap

Probes will target producers, collectors and processors of lead-acid battery scraps as well as illegal activities

The Ministry of Ecological Environment and the Ministry of Public Security of Jiangsu province will jointly launch an investigation into the lead-acid battery scrap industry from January to June.

To further regulate the sector, the probes will target producers, collectors and processors of lead-acid battery scraps as well as illegal activities.
