SHANGHAI, Jan 30 (SMM) – Installed capacity of cylindrical motive batteries in new energy vehicles (NEVs) in China came in at about 7.11GWh in 2018, accounting for 12.5% of the total, SMM data showed.
Of that, ternary batteries accounted for 5GWh or 66.9%, lithium titanium oxide batteries accounted for 0.5GWh, or 11.5% and lithium iron phosphate batteries took up for 0.42GWh, or 6.3%.
The top five producers of cylindrical motive batteries are BAK Battery, Lishen Battery, Guoxuan High-Tech, Zhuhai Yinlong and Far East First New Energy.
