DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Jan 28 (SMM) – China’s National Energy Administration said on Monday January 28 that the country installed 44.26 gigawatts (GW) of new solar capacity in 2018, down from 2017 but notched the second largest installation in China's history.
Centralised solar accounted for 23.3 GW while distributed solar took up for 20.96 GW.
As of the end of December, China’s cumulative solar capacity stood at 174 GW — 123.84 GW of centralised generation capacity and another 50.61 GW of distributed generation capacity.
