DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Jan 23 (SMM) – China's output of refined lead in December grew 15.9% from November to stand at 561,000 mt, showed National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) data on Wednesday January 23.
On a yearly basis, December's output gained 30.5%. This raised overall output in 2018 by 9.8% on the year, to 5.11 million mt.
SMM believes that the rush to meet annual production targets and the end of maintenance at smelters in Shandong and Henan provinces accounted for the increase.
