Limited arrivals lower social inventories of primary aluminium

SHANGHAI, Jan 21 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, came in at 1.262 million mt as of Monday January 21, down 2,000 mt from Thursday January 17, SMM data showed.

Limited cargoes arrived at social warehouses during the weekend, and this accounted for the decline.
