SHANGHAI, Jan 8 (SMM) – Annual sales by China's major excavator producers notched an all-time high in 2018, according to the China Construction Machinery Association.
The top 25 leading excavator makers sold 203,420 units in 2018, up 45% from 2017.
Some 184,200 excavators were sold domestically, up 41.1% year on year. Exports soared 97.5% to 19,100 units.
About 16,000 excavators were sold in December.
