Exports increase by 16.9% from Nov 2017, to 96,000 mt

SHANGHAI, Dec 29 (SMM) – China's exports of aluminium alloy auto wheels in November gained 16.9% from November 2017, to 96,000 mt, showed latest data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

This rallied overall exports in January-November by 7.9% from the same period last year, to 913,000 mt. On a monthly basis, exports in November jumped 7.5%.

Concerns over tariffs across overseas buyers accounted for the rising exports from China. SMM expects that the reading will continue to climb in December, and slow at the beginning of 2019.
