Rebar social inventories in Guangzhou up 11% on week

SHANGHAI, Dec 27 (SMM) – Social inventories of long steel, including wire rods and rebar, in Guangzhou of Guangdong province, increased by 10.34%, or 62,300 mt over the week ended Thursday December 27 and stood at 664,600 mt, SMM data showed.

For the same week, rebar stocks in Guangzhou expanded 39,500 mt, or 11.3%, to stand at 390,200 mt, and wire rods stocks grew 22,800 mt, or 9.1%, to 274,400 mt.
