Lead-acid battery makers certified in 6th batch of qualifications
The companies are Anhui Uplus Energy Technology, Anhui Leoch Battery Technology and Zhaoqing Leoch Battery Technology
SHANGHAI, Dec 27 (SMM) – In the 6th batch of qualified enterprises, three lead-acid battery manufacturers in China met industrial requirements by the central government, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) posted on its website on Monday December 24.
The companies are Anhui Uplus Energy Technology, Anhui Leoch Battery Technology and Zhaoqing Leoch Battery Technology.
This batch would bring the total number of qualified lead-acid battery manufacturers to 147.
In May 2012, the MIIT announced the Lead-acid Battery Industry Access Conditions, which took effect from July 1, to regulate and optimise the industry. The document identified various aspects to improve industry access on.
