SHANGHAI, Dec 26 (SMM) – China’s imports of refined zinc jumped 40.9% from October to stand at 113,500 mt in November. This is 7.6% lower than November 2017, according to the latest data from China Customs.
In January-November, imports gained 8% on the year and came in at 621,600 mt.
Australia led the list of nations and accounted for 29% of China’s overall imports in November. Spain and Belgium were the second and third biggest exporters to China.
