Increased arrivals slow declines in inventories of primary aluminium

SHANGHAI, Dec 24 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, came in at 1.276 million mt as of Monday December 24, down 4,000 mt from Thursday December 20, SMM data showed.

More arrivals from smelters slowed decline over the weekend, which compared to a drop of 18,000 mt last Monday.
