SHANGHAI, Dec 19 (SMM) – China's output of pig iron stood at 63.73 million mt in November, up 16.1% from November 2017, but down 5.9% month on month, showed National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) data released on Monday December 17.
This increased overall production in January-November by 7.9% from the same period last year, to 707.85 million mt.
Daily output of molten iron changed little in September to November, standing at 2.21 million mt in September, 2.19 million mt in October, and 2.12 million mt in November, the data showed.
