SHANGHAI, Dec 14 (SMM) – Nickel inventories in the Shanghai bonded areas remained flat from last Friday and stood at 29,000 mt as of Friday December 14, SMM data showed.
The import arbitrage window remained closed this week, despite signs of narrower losses. This prevented importers from moving cargoes from bonded warehouses to the domestic spot market.
Limited forward cargoes arrived at bonded warehouses this week, SMM learned.
