Price CenterDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Dec 14 (SMM) – Imported copper concentrate treatment charges (TCs) dipped this week, on market concerns that a resumption at Vedanta's copper smelter in India would affect domestic supplies.
Offers for imported copper concentrate TCs stood at $92-96/mt as of Friday December 14, compared with offers of $92-97/mt a week ago, according to SMM assessment.
On December 11, India's environmental court concluded hearings on Vedanta's appeal against the Tamil Nadu government’s order to shut the copper smelter. The hearings ended without a decision on the legal status of interveners.
