Brisk transactions keep spot aluminium prices unchanged

In Shanghai, spot discounts were heard at 50-40 yuan/mt, flat from Tuesday December 4

SHANGHAI, Dec 5 (SMM) – Across eastern markets on Wednesday December 5, traded prices of spot aluminium remained unchanged from the previous day and transactions between traders remained brisk, SMM research found.

The SHFE 1812 contract traded rangebound in morning trades. In Shanghai, spot discounts were heard at 50-40 yuan/mt, flat from Tuesday. Most transactions occurred at 13,650-13,660 yuan/mt in Shanghai and Wuxi and at 13,680-13,700 yuan/mt in Hangzhou.

Guangdong saw brisk trades in the morning, with most spot transactions occurring at 13,730-13,750 yuan/mt and the Guangdong-Shanghai spread at 80 yuan/mt.
