SHANGHAI, Dec 3 (SMM) – China's cobalt sulphate production increased 7% from September, to 2,315 mt in metal content in October, SMM data showed.
Higher output in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces accounted for the increase. Robust demand from the ternary materials market encouraged producers to step up production of cobalt salt. They also accelerated operation to meet annual targets, SMM learned.
SMM expects high downstream demand to keep production of cobalt sulphate flat in November at around 2,315 mt in metal content.
