DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Nov 30 (SMM) – The average operating rate across domestic copper materials producers is expected to hover at a low of 74.88% in November, up 0.68 percentage point on the month, an SMM survey found.
Improved overseas orders for home appliances accounted for the slight increase. Overall sluggish downstream demand kept plants operating at low rates in November, SMM learned.
While overall weak consumption may continue through December, SMM believes that the electric grid and infrastructure sectors will provide some support.
