Oct’s alumina exports hit highest since 2014

China exported 460,072 mt of alumina in Oct, the highest since 2014

SHANGHAI, Nov 27 (SMM) – China exported 460,072 mt of alumina in October, the highest since 2014, showed data from China Customs.

The top export destination is Iceland and 102,100 mt of Chinese alumina went to the Nordic island country in October.

Last month, 88,784 mt of Chinese alumina went to Malaysia and 86,951 mt went to the United Arab Emirates.
