Guangdong Guanghua Sci-tech (JHD) on Monday November 19 inked a deal with Golden Dragon Bus, a Nanjing-based bus manufacturer, to recycle batteries.
Under the agreement, Golden Dragon will send waste battery cores and modules as well as retired batteries that meet recycling standards to Guanghua, Guanghua said in a statement. The two parties will also establish a recycling network for power battery scrap to ensure orderly reprocessing and disposal.
Guanghua has expanded the market for retired power battery recycling. On November 12, it signed a similar agreement with Penglong Automobile Services and Trade, a sales unit of automobile giant Beijing Automotive Industry Holding (BAIC Group).
