Daily iron ore deliveries leaving Chinese ports averaged 2.554 million mt in the week through Nov 23

SHANGHAI, Nov 23 (SMM) – Daily iron ore deliveries leaving 35 major Chinese ports averaged 2.554 million mt in the week through November 23, down 61,000 mt from the previous week, SMM data showed.

This grew iron ore stocks across those ports up 80,000 mt from a week ago to 132.16 million mt as of November 23.

Average daily deliveries leaving ports in Tangshan held stable this week while the figure for ports in Shandong sharply fell on tight scrutiny of overloaded trucks.

Sluggish trades this week also kept iron ore from leaving ports.
