DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Nov 22 (SMM) – China’s imports of copper scrap grew 7.02% from September to stand at 207,100 mt in October, showed data from China Customs.
In metal content, October’s imports equated to 131,600 mt, up 13.48% month on month, with average copper content of 63.53%.
Category Six materials accounted for about 85% of overall copper scrap imports while Category Seven accounted for some 14%.
Copper scrap from the US came in at 5,400 mt last month and its contribution to October’s tally fell to 2.6%.
