SHANGHAI, Nov 21 (SMM) – Slow purchases downstream continued to lower prices of lithium hydroxide as of November 21, according to an SMM assessment.
Prices of domestic battery-grade lithium hydroxide (56.5% LiOH) dipped to 120,000 yuan/mt as of Wednesday November 21, the lowest in nearly two years. This compared to an average of 121,000 yuan/mt a week ago.
Industrial-grade lithium hydroxide registered sharper declines in prices as downstream buyers reduced purchases to once every two months, from once a month previously, SMM learned.
