SHANGHAI, Nov 20 (SMM) – Shaanxi Iron and Steel (Group), commonly known as Shaangang, plans to put two blast furnaces under maintenance for 60 days from this week, SMM learned.
This is expected to impact steel output by some 580,000 mt.
Aa furnace of 1,800 m³ is located in its mill in Hancheng and will undergo maintenance from November 20, which will some 5,200 mt of daily molten iron output.
The other furnace of 1,280 m³ is located in its mill in Hanzhong. Maintenance will begin from November 22 and will affect some 4,500 mt of daily molten iron output.
