Report: Rongbai Technology to invest in Li-ion battery material project

The project will produce 100,000 mt of cathode materials, 200,000 mt of precursors and 100,000 mt of secondary materials per year

Ningbo Rongbai New Energy Technology will invest 12.1 billion yuan to develop a lithium-battery material project in Yuyao’s Linshan town.

The signing ceremony for the production base occurred in Yuyao city in Zhejiang province on November 12, Yuyao Daily reported.

After it is commissioned, the project will produce 100,000 mt of cathode materials, 200,000 mt of precursors and 100,000 mt of secondary materials per year. There are three phases of construction that will end in December 2025.
