Daily crude steel output at CISA member mills extends decline in late-Oct

Daily output across CISA member mills during Oct 21-31 dipped 2.33% from Oct 11-20 to stand at 1.91 million mt

SHANGHAI, Nov 12 (SMM) – Average daily output of crude steel across China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills during October 21-31 dipped 2.33% from October 11-20 to stand at 1.91 million mt, the lowest since the start of September.

As of October 31, inventories of steel products across CISA member mills also fell 5.33% from October 20 and came in at 12.22 million mt.

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) reported that crude steel output across major mills in China averaged 2.14 million mt per day in the first ten days of July, down 5.56% from late June and up 0.32% from the same period a year ago.
