Exports of silicon metal dip in Sep

China exported 75,000 mt of silicon metal in Sep, down 8.7% from Aug but up 7.3% from Sep 2017

SHANGHAI, Nov 7 (SMM) – China exported 75,000 mt of silicon metal in September, down 8.7% from August but up 7.3% from September 2017, showed data from China Customs.

In January-September, the exports amounted to 658,000 mt, standing 7.3% higher compared to a year earlier, with average monthly volume at 73,000 mt.
