With high strength to weight ratios and good machinability, magnesium alloys are widely utilised in aerospace, military, new-energy vehicles, high-speed trains, handsets and laptops sectors. The new magnesium alloy project is set to help optimise the industrial structure and jumpstart economic structural upgrading in Lhasa.
