Ample supplies keep imported copper concentrate TCs flat on week
SMM assessed imported copper concentrate TCs stood flat at $90-94/mt on the week
SHANGHAI, Nov 23 (SMM) – Offers for imported copper concentrate treatment charges (TCs) went flat over the week ended Friday November 23, at $90-94/mt.
Traded prices of forward cargoes delivered in the first quarter of 2019 stood above $90/mt, minimally affected by a lower 2019 TC of $80.8/mt set by Jiangxi Copper and Antofagasta on November 15.
Sufficient supplies in the market supported the spot TCs, SMM believes.
