SMM launches monthly data of processing charges for copper rods

We assessed processing charges of copper rods for electrical applications in Oct stood at 600-750 yuan/mt

SHANGHAI, Nov 5 (SMM) – SMM assessed processing charges of copper rods for electrical applications in October at 600-750 yuan/mt, and charges of copper rods for manufacturing of enamelled wire at 750-950 yuan/mt.

This is SMM's first assessment on monthly processing charges of copper rods.

Limited purchases from the home appliances, automobile, and electrical sectors weighed on sales of enamelled copper wire in October, SMM research found.
