DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Nov 1 (SMM) – Some 12,225 mt of copper scrap, across six companies, received the green light in the 23rd and latest batch of approvals for restricted solid scrap imports, according to the release by the solid waste management centre of China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) on November 1.
The 23rd batch of approvals brought total approved copper scrap imports this year to 947,800 mt, down some 68.47% from the volumes approved in 11 batches last year.
