Power grid investments decline slower in Jan-Sep

China invested 337.3 billion yuan in power grid projects in the Jan-Sep period, down 9.6% year on year

SHANGHAI, Oct 31 (SMM) – China invested 337.3 billion yuan in power grid projects in the January-September period, down 9.6% year on year, according to the latest data from the China Electricity Council.

Annual growth of China’s realised investment in power grid projects continue to be negative this year, but annual declines are getting smaller.

Data published by China’s National Energy Administration on Thursday showed that 59.6 billion yuan was invested in power generation projects in China in the first three months of 2020, up 30.9% from the same period last year.
