Shanghai-bonded copper stocks shrink on week

Copper stocks across Shanghai bonded areas shrank by 1,200 mt from Oct 19 to 393,000 mt as of Friday Oct 26

SHANGHAI, Oct 26 (SMM) – Copper stocks across Shanghai bonded areas shrank by 1,200 mt from October 19 to 393,000 mt as of Friday October 26, SMM data showed. 

Limited overseas cargoes moved into the bonded areas amid closed import arbitrage window, which has remained closed for nearly a month. 

Separately, copper inventories across LME warehouses in Asia stood below 20,000 mt, the lowest in recent four-five years.
