SHANGHAI, Oct 25 (SMM) – Stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China decreased by some 6,500 mt over the week ended Thursday October 25 to stand at 143,500 mt, SMM data showed.

During the same period, limited arrivals and improved downstream purchases lowered stocks in Foshan by 5,100 mt, or 6.3%. Stocks in Nanchang fell by 3,900 mt, or 23.2%, as the partial suspension of Nanchang north railway station kept shipments from arriving at warehouses.
