Report: Wuhang Steel to commission two EAFs in Jun 2019

After the EAFs are commissioned, the mill will have capacity to produce 2 million mt of steel per year

Wuhang Iron and Steel plans to commission two electric arc furnaces (EAFs) of 105 mt each, in June 2019, reported Fuzhou Daily on October 11.

The steelmaker, located in Fuzhou city of Fujian province, demolished three old EAFs, one 60-mt and two 70-mt, to build the two new furnaces with total investment of 2 billion yuan.

After it is commissioned, the mill will have capacity to produce 2 million mt of steel per year.
