SHANGHAI, Oct 22 (SMM) – Transportation of materials to construction sites in Shanghai will be banned from October 23 to November 12, as the first-ever China International Import Expo (CIIE) is held in the city from November 5-10.
From October 29 to November 11, operation will also suspend across construction sites within a five km radius of the CIIE venue at the National Exhibition and Convention Center.
SMM expects that the restriction will expand to local steel mills in the following weeks. Other areas near the city have not received any notice.
