Downstream purchases lower aluminium billet inventories

Stocks of 6063 billet decreased by some 2,000 mt over the week ended Thursday Oct 18 to stand at 150,000 mt

SHANGHAI, Oct 18 (SMM) – Stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China decreased by some 2,000 mt over the week ended Thursday October 18 to stand at 150,000 mt as downstream consumers restocked raw materials, SMM research found.

Details:

Foshan, Guangdong – 81,300 mt

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 21,800 mt

Changzhou, Jiangsu – 18,000 mt

Huzhou, Zhejiang – 12,100 mt

Nanchang, Jiangxi – 16,800 mt
