Report: North China city to purchase fuel cell buses

Datong city in Shanxi province will purchase 300 fuel cell buses, with a total value of 1.08 billion yuan, by end-2019

SHANGHAI, Oct 15 (SMM) – Datong city in the northern Shanxi province will purchase 300 fuel cell buses, with a total value of 1.08 billion yuan, from Dingrui New Energy Vehicles by the end of 2019, the city government announced on October 11.

The fuel cell system will be manufactured and delivered by a subsidiary of Shenzhen Center Power Tech, Qingxiong Yunding Hydrogen Technology. Details of procurement remain under negotiation.
