SHANGHAI, Oct 12 (SMM) – Copper stocks across Shanghai bonded areas rose by 13,200 mt from Friday September 28 to 407,200 mt as of Friday October 12, SMM data showed. Stocks grew for seven consecutive weeks as of September 28.
Demand for copper scrap improved on a continued spread of more than 1,000 yuan/mt between prices of refined materials and scrap. This eased demand for refined copper.
