






SHANGHAI, Oct 8 (SMM) – China's export of aluminium alloy auto wheels in August gained 10.4% on the year and amounted to $413 million in August, showed data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
Exports in August rose 6.9% from a year ago and came in at 86,700 mt. Export prices averaged $4.77/kg, according to CAAM data.
From January to August, China exported 641,700 mt of aluminium alloy auto wheels, up 5.9% from last year, with value of the exports standing at $3,108 million, up 11% from a year ago. Export prices averaged $4.84/kg during the first eight months of this year.
