SHANGHAI, Oct 8 (SMM) – Stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China increased some 22,300 mt from September 27 to stand at 139,500 mt as of Monday October 8, SMM data showed.
Downstream extrusion made fewer purchases during the National Day holiday, and this accounted for the increase. Inventories in Nanchang saw the biggest growth during the holiday, as the Nanchang North Station resumed operation after renovation.
