Shanghai-bonded copper stocks fall at slowest rate in seven weeks

Copper stocks across Shanghai bonded areas shrank 2,000 mt from a week ago to 394,000 mt as of Sep 28

SHANGHAI, Sep 28 (SMM) – Copper stocks across Shanghai bonded areas shrank 2,000 mt from a week ago to stand at 394,000 mt as of Friday September 28, SMM data showed.

This marked the seventh consecutive week of decline, but at the smallest rate, with import arbitrage window closed this week. SMM expects to see limited downward room in the stocks next week.
